Treating an Apimaye hive with an InstantVap
Apimaye hives are insulated plastic, so a bare brass nozzle should never sit against the entrance. Use the Apimaye 10-frame adapter or 7-frame adapter with a Compact or Turbo, or slip a silicone insulation tube over the nozzle on any model.
These hives are built for easier hive management, better honey production and higher winter survival. The Ergo PLUS single brood box set and the 7-frame nuc sets are the usual starting points; the screened bottom board with pollen trap and the 10-frame dual feeder complete the setup.
