What to wear when you vaporize

• PD-101 full-face respirator — covers eyes and lungs in one piece, which is why we recommend it over a half-mask plus goggles.
• P-A-3 organic-vapor cartridges and 3M pre-filters — replace cartridges each season or when you can smell acid; pre-filters keep dust off the cartridge.
• Ventilated or heavy-duty goat-skin gloves, and kids' gloves for a helper. Gloves are sold by Lorob Bees and ship direct from Sting Stopper.
