Instantvap Apimaye washers

Does not work!!

"Does not work! Even with the adapter on the Instantvap will MELT YOUR HIVE if you use the front entrance. Does not work as advertised. Very expensive for a piece of equipment that fails to protect your expensive hive. Also I have 4 hives total and this is the second season using it and the cover is already falling off. You get 2 with your order but they are expensive. We need a solution that keeps your hive from damage if it comes into contact with the cover. . . this is not it."

Need a better solution

"About 1/2 of the time the device slides off of the gas tube, remaining in the hive or at the entrance. Though to remove from the hive if wearing gloves. It gets hot itself from contact with the metal gas tube and needs to be replaced. not my favorite solution but it is the only one offered at present for Apimaye and for like hive construction. ."

Still don’t have it.

"It’s hard to review something that you don’t have. Ordered it 2 months ago still have not received it. Did get a text a month ago saying that they were trying to get parts to fix the machine that makes the tip. Did not get it when I needed it. Sad that I have 3 of there devices and love one of them. Now this. So there you have it."

Convenient - Just Pay Attention to Thinning of Tip

"They make it quick and easy to do vaporization treatments of Apimaye Boxes. The only problem I've had is that after 3-4 uses for each of my 10 Apimaye hives, the tip becomes thin and has to be replaced. When I wasn't watching close enough and the tip of the washer thinnned out, and actually started to melt the entrance hole in the Apimaye hives."

"A cork with a drilled hole works good in the swivel gate. The apimay nucs have one in back, but not the ten frame."
