RYOBI Adapter - ADD ON for DEWALT InstantVap Original, Compact and Lite units

Adapter works great! Ryobi batteries not so much

"The adapter works great but I haven’t been happy with the performance of the batteries. I’ve got a mix of Ryobi branded and third party batteries and the vaporizer puts a lot more pressure on them than any of my tools. So, under normal use I’m generally happy with Ryobi, but in this case I’m not. This isn’t an adapter issue. The specific battery issues are that the vaporizer takes a LONG time to come up to temperature, clogs frequently, and the batteries, even 6-8 amp hour ones, don’t last very long. It was frustrating enough I went out and bought actual Dewalt batteries (6 amp hour) and they work much better. Heating is much quicker and clogging doesn’t seem to be an issue. I’m getting around 18 4 gram treatments and 30+ 2 gram treatments per charge which I’m happy with."

A little stiff

"Have touble removing the battery from this adapter. However, my hands are small enough that it's hard to wrap around the whole battery to press both tabs. I just remove the whole adapter from the unit to power down, and then remove the battery later to charge."
