About the InstantVap Lite
The Lite is the most affordable cordless oxalic acid vaporizer we sell, built for backyard beekeepers with up to about 20 hives. It runs on a 3 Ah or larger tool battery (the pack that comes with most drill kits), heats automatically when the battery clicks on, and vaporizes a 2 g dose in 25–30 seconds or a 4 g dose in about a minute and a half. Sold and serviced in the USA by Lorob Bees with a two-year warranty.
What fits the Lite
- Spare Lite plunger — the dispenser that meters the dose; a spare saves a trip back to the truck.
- Lite cleaning cap (2-pack) and Lite plunger o-ring — the two wear items.
- Brass nozzle and extended brass nozzle — the extended one reaches deeper entrances and slatted racks.
- Silicone insulation tubes — slip over the nozzle so it never touches a polystyrene or Apimaye hive.
- Ryobi and Craftsman V20 adapters for a DeWalt-socket Lite.
Not on the list: the silicone insulation roof, telescopic support rod, QuickClean caps and the Turbo/Original/Compact plunger and nozzles. Those fit the bigger three, not the Lite.
Is the Lite the right model?
