Hive Entrance Dials, Mixed Colors – 150 Count Bulk Case

150 dials, every color a one-off. When we change color between production runs, the machine purges the old shade through before the new one comes clean. Those in-between colors would normally be scraped onto the floor and thrown away. Same dial, same polypropylene, same UV package — you simply do not get to pick the shade.

Which makes them ideal for color-coding a yard. A hundred and fifty unrepeatable colors means every hive can have its own, and you will not confuse two of them at forty feet.

Injection molded in Baltimore, by a beekeeper. High-grade polypropylene with three times the standard UV additive, because we got tired of watching dials go chalky and brittle in our own yard after one summer in the sun. At 37¢ a dial in the case, they cost less than the imports and outlast them.

It works as an entrance reducer like any of our dials: rotate to open the entrance for a strong colony, choke it down for a new package or a robbing-season dearth, close it for a move. Mounts to the front of the box, no wooden block to lose in the grass.
